The annual retreat of the LOEWE Research Center DYNAMIC took place at Rauischholzhausen Castle on January 13th and 14th, 2025. The event provided an inspiring platform for interdisciplinary exchange and further development of innovative approaches to the research and treatment of mental illnesses.

The high number of participants and many new faces, including clinical scientists for the first time, created a productive atmosphere for exchanging ideas about the research projects. Exciting presentations and discussions, for example on the connections between psychotherapy research, artificial intelligence and natural language processing, became major topics of the event. A guest talk by Prof. Dr. Tim Hahn on the use of AI in psychotherapy also provided a special highlight to gain new perspectives on the ongoing projects.

Important positions such as the Equal Opportunities Officer and representatives of the Early Career Researchers were also filled. The retreat was therefore an exciting start to the second funding year 2025 and further strengthened networking within the consortium.
